so in my first period this kid was [laughing and] talking about how he once started swinging a puppy in circles over his head and let go and killed her when she hit the wall.

and my teacher was like “oh that wasnt your fault, you were just a kid” 

she has two kids of her own

And i was told i would love her.

my teacher just informed me that i would have to ‘clean up’ before an interview. 

Oh then she told me the stereotypical “you’ll change your mind” when i was explaining to someone else that i am aromantic.

we have a new principal and and a stricter dress code. My boobs are too big, they are a violation of dress code.

Now go read your creationism chapter. There will be a test.

5. There is a very clear, single path to success.
It’s called college. Everyone can join the top 1% if they do well enough in school and ignore the basic math problem inherent in that idea.

6. Behaving yourself is as important as getting good marks.
Whistle-blowing, questioning the status quo, and thinking your own thoughts are no-nos. Be quiet and get back on the assembly line.

7. Standardized tests measure your value.
By value, I’m talking about future earning potential, not anything else that might have other kinds of value.

8. Days off are always more fun than sitting in the classroom.
You are trained from a young age to base your life around dribbles of allocated vacation. Be grateful for them.

9. The purpose of your education is your future career.
And so you will be taught to be a good worker. You have to teach yourself how to be something more.

So in one of my classes i had to produce commentary on a controversial issue. Simple enough right? Some of the ones others did was abortion, Obama, etc.. I chose Illegally downloading music. (Im against it). I knew i wasnt going to get many supportersjust because thats our greedy culture today. But whatever

So i present and the TEACHER FUCKING LAUGHS AT ME. Then he asks if anyone supported me and when no one raised their hand he laughed again. WHAT THE HELL? His argument for downloading music was that now that the internet is here for free publicity that people shouldnt have to buy music “they cant have the best of both worlds” What? Piracy has been around forever, its not new.

The worst part? HE CANT DROP IT. The next day he brought it up and laughed at me again. Like reallyy? He was just taking roll. No one else was talking about it.

If he brings it up again after the break im leaving his class and telling the principal that he is encouraging illegal behavior in his class room. He doesnt just make fun of me to the side either, its in front of the class-.- I shouldnt be bullied by a fucking adult, for NOT engaging in illegal behavior
